Marmots and Apex Office Centers

Marmots and Apex Office Centers

How much do you know about marmots?

One of the largest parts of the squirrel family, these lovely creatures can reach 2 feet and weigh up to 11 pounds. They have adapted their bodies to cope with the high elevations at which they live. They have reddish brown fur and get their name form their yellow bellies. Closely related to the groundhog and woodchuck families.

The yellow bellied marmots live in groups of 10-20  and they dig very elaborate burrows under high elevation meadows and rock fields. They hibernate in winter and then mate every spring having litters of 3 to 8 pups per female. They are then weaned and leave to set up their own warren after about 6 weeks. They do suffer from high predation and only half of young marmots make it through the first year.

When eating and foraging one Marmot stands as guard and whistles sharply when there is danger.

Although they look cute, these animals are thought to have been the distribution arm of the black plague rather than rats.

Which brings us to Apex Office Centers, whose methods of doing business are proving to be a plague to the competitors.

Apex offers Virtual Office packages to small businesses. If you work from home, Apex acts like a foil to make your business look bigger than it actually is and offers a veneer of respectability. We have professional receptionists that answer your phone, screens your calls and patches the good ones through to you. We also have meeting rooms that we rent by the hour of the day and offer mail services too.

We have been operating for over 18 years as a local family run business. Instead of being cuthroat about the small things, like gouging clients for using the photocopier, we follow a much more laissez faire approach which the completion does not like as it shows up their over zealous capitalistic tendencies. Zut alors.

Call 916-677-4200 and ask for Sherri or John to find out more.

Our plans start at $79. Worth checking out.
